Meet Dr. France Muise
Dr. Muise will be on maternity leave from October 9th, 2026 until April 2028.
Dr. France Muise is a dedicated optometrist with over 10 years of experience. She is passionate about helping patients achieve optimal vision and eye health through comprehensive eye care.
Originally from Yarmouth, N0va Scotia, Dr. Muise attended Mount Allison University where she graduated on the Dean's List with a Bachelor of Science in 2011. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry Degree at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science in 2015, again graduating on the Dean's List.
Dr. Muise is Acadian, and can not only provide services in English and French but also Spanish.
Meet Dr. Kaitlyn Skinner
Dr. Kaitlyn Skinner grew up in Cambridge, Ontario. Her high level volleyball then brought her to Bowling Green State University in Ohio, where she completed a Bachelor of Science. During her time at BGSU, Dr. Skinner played varsity volleyball and was a member of the MAC Championship varsity volleyball team. She then went on to play volleyball professionally in Spain.
Dr. Skinner graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science with her Doctor of Optometry degree in 2019 and was presented with The RACH Memorial Award. During her time at the University of Waterloo, Dr. Skinner was the president of the University of Waterloo student chapter of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity (VOSH) and also the vice president of the Sports Vision Club, assisting with Paralympic vision screenings and performance enhancement vision therapy.
Dr. Skinner is passionate about all things sports and travelling. She enjoys hiking, yoga, volleyball, spending time with her family and friends, and exploring Nova Scotia!
